The terms for using NEPSE Scanner.

What NEPSE Scanner is

NEPSE Scanner is an information service. It describes past trading on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) in plain words, from NEPSE’s own records and other public sources. It is not a stockbroker or an investment adviser, it doesn’t handle your money, and it doesn’t place trades.

Not investment advice

Nothing on the site is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any share. Descriptions, rankings, conditions and caution flags describe what happened in the records; none of them predicts prices. A caution flag marks an unusual trading pattern, never an accusation against anyone. Decisions about your money, and their results, are yours. If you need advice, talk to a licensed adviser.

The data can be late or wrong

Our figures come from NEPSE’s records and public sources. They can be delayed, incomplete or wrong, and so can our calculations. Prices are not adjusted for bonus or rights shares. We work to show where numbers come from and what they can’t tell you, but we don’t guarantee that anything on the site is accurate, complete or up to date. Check official sources, such as NEPSE and the company’s own announcements, before you act.

Availability

The site is provided as it is. It may be slow or unavailable at times, and we may change, pause or remove features, including during market hours. NEPSE Scanner is free to use at present.

Your account

• Give a real email address, and keep your password to yourself.
• One account is for one person. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
• Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

Fair use

Please don’t:

• collect the site’s pages or data in bulk with automated tools, or put a heavy load on the site;
• try to get around sign-in or security, or use another person’s account;
• use the site to mislead other people, for example by presenting its pages as advice or as an accusation against a company or a broker;
• break any law, including Nepal’s securities laws.

Ending your use

You can stop using NEPSE Scanner at any time, and ask us to close your account by email. We may suspend or switch off an account that breaks these terms or puts the site or other users at risk. Closed accounts are deactivated, not deleted; see the privacy notice for how to ask us to delete your personal information.

Our responsibility

As far as the law allows, NEPSE Scanner is not responsible for any loss that comes from decisions you make using the site, or from errors, delays or interruptions in its data or service.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal, and disputes are for the courts of Nepal.
